Forest School Level One Training at Scotswood Garden

Dear Supporter,

Our three-day Introduction to Forest School Level One course is suitable for anyone who is interested in finding out more about Forest School - no prior experience is necessary.

We pack a lot into the three-day course, including:

An overview of the forest school ethos and the theory that underpins it.
A range of activities and games that learners can use in their own settings.
Fire lighting
Using tools
Putting up shelters
Flora and fauna identification
Risk assessment and management
Managing the environmental impact

The course is delivered by two of our own experienced Forest School tutors here at the lovely Scotswood Garden.

Dates of the next 3-day Level One course: Thursdays 10th April, 1st May and 8th May 2025, 9-5
