Apple Day - Saturday 3rd October 2026

Tickets available now

Dear Supporter

Bookings are now open for our FREE family fun day event - Apple Day on Saturday 3rd October 2026!

Please book your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. You can book your tickets now via ticketsource.com/scotswoodgarden.

We also offer 11.00 and 11.15 entry slots for those who need a 'quiet & relaxed' entry ahead of the crowds; if this would help you, please contact office@sncg.org.uk or 0191 275 0000 to book.

PLEASE NOTE OUR NEW ENTRANCE! You will not be able to enter from John Marley Centre, please use the rear car park via Yewcroft Avenue, NE15 6TU. Car parking is limited please walk, cycle or use the bus where possible.

What's happening at Apple Day 2026?
- celebrate our apple harvest
- press your own apple juice
- local author Stacey Bone brings her story The Wonderful Woodlouse
- reading dens in the woodland
- free children's magazines donated by National Literacy Trust to take away
- a new Sensory Trail created by our volunteers to explore
- bug hunting
- FREE hot and soft drinks
- apple pizza for sale from the woodfired pizza oven
- cake stall
- Sticky Business and craft stall PLUS much more!

PLEASE NOTE:
Tickets remain free but we suggest a donation of £3 per person to help us fund future events. If you are able to donate, you can do so either during the booking process or on the day. Thank you in advance for your support.

In the past we have been able to fund free food. Sadly, we no longer have the funds to subsidise this, so we will be charging for pizza and cakes; free drinks will be available. Please also bring a small amount of cash along with you for the games and craft stall. Thank you for your understanding.

If you book tickets but then find that you can't attend, please email nicky@sncg.org.uk to cancel your tickets so someone else can come along - we are always oversubscribed but have had a high rate of no-shows at previous events.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR SUPPORT

Best wishes
Scotswood Garden Staff and Volunteers
